Supreme Court sacked Taraba Ag Governor, orders Deputy sworn in. Taraba State Acting Governor Umar Garba has been sacked by the Supreme Court. The Apex court on Friday also directed that the Deputy Governor, Abubakar Danladi be sworn in. It will be recalled that Danladi had approached a Federal High Court in Taraba, following his impeachment by the by Taraba State House of Assembly in September 2012. The lawmakers had found him guilty of gross misconduct and engaging in private businesses. But the Federal High Court ruled that Danladi was impeached in line with the provisions of the Section 188 of the constitution.
